Pull up to 3575 E Lake Pl on any given evening and you'll find something that's harder to come by than people realize: a place where strangers become regulars fast. The Inverness Elks Lodge No. 2522 sits on a property with genuine lakeside charm, the kind of setting that makes you linger longer than you planned. Members and guests consistently mention the view and the people in the same breath, and that combination is no accident.

The Lodge has been a fixture in Hernando, FL through community events, charitable drives, and the sort of low-key socializing that doesn't need a hashtag to feel good. Bingo nights draw a crowd that ranges from longtime members to first-timers who wandered in and stayed for three rounds. The bar keeps things casual, the reception hall handles the big occasions, and the RV sites with 50-amp hookups give traveling Elks a reason to stop and stay awhile.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 across 88 reviews, this Lodge earns its reputation one handshake at a time. The Elks motto, "Elks Care, Elks Share," shows up here not as a slogan on the wall but as the actual behavior of the people inside.

What We Offer

The Lodge runs a full bar stocked for a relaxed evening with fellow members, alongside regular Bingo nights that are genuinely competitive and genuinely fun. The large reception room is available for organizational meetings and private events, offering enough space to handle a serious gathering without the sterile feel of a hotel ballroom.

Traveling members of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks can take advantage of the RV hookup sites, which feature 50-amp service and water connections with beautiful lake views right outside the window. During public community events like the Dragon Boat Festival at Hernando Park, the Lodge opens its doors wider, serving food and cold beer to the broader community.

From charitable fundraisers to casual Friday nights at the bar, the calendar here stays active. Check elks2522.org for current event schedules, membership information, and reception room booking details.

"We stayed at the RV site with 50 Amp and water for two nights. Beautiful view and friendly people. Bingo was fun! When you come, make sure you have two water hoses and two 50 Amp cords to bridge the distance to the hookups. Also, enter off East Lake Pl, as the other entrance has a 9 foot clearance to get to the canpsite."

"The club house a bit dated/retro (70s). This isn't a bad thing. There is a full liquor bar for members only. They also serve food from time to time. They are a big supporter of the local Boy Scout troops."

"Stopped by for a nightcap with my fiance and to my surprise they were right in the middle of a Trivia Game and invited us to join them and play. It was a nice diversion from all the holiday hussle/bustle. Our team took 3rd place! Not bad for late comers."
